Gaining New Business Through a RFP

One way to increase your sales is to win a request for proposal (RFP). Companies and government organizations often post opportunities when they are seeking vendors and suppliers. The process allows you to submit your bid for consideration. Other similar opportunities which may be potential sales for you include a “request for quotation” or “request for information.”

SLAM 2014

The 2014 SLAM tour is being presented by DBR Entertainment. The concert features top actors, actresses and singers of Bollywood including Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Malaika Arora Khan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Kanika Kapoor.

Mosaic Fest

This year marks the ninth year of the Mosaic Festival. It is presented by the Canadian Community Arts Initiative and supported by TD Canada Trust, City of Mississauga, Department of Canadian Heritage, Ontario Trillium Foundation, Province of Ontario, Ontario Arts Council, Toronto Tourism and generous sponsors. The event is the largest free South Asian arts and culture festival in North America with last year’s attendance reaching nearly 70000 visitors.

India Live

The South Asian Family Associating (SAFA) will be hosting their India Live Festival in Vancouver on August 9, 2014. The event highlights South Asian culture and is a free block party where everyone is welcome. It will take place in the 700 block of Granville Street.

There will be live music performances, workshops, yoga classes, sari and turban tying, gatka (martial arts) demonstrations, bhangra, live DJ and dancing, henna tattoos, Bollywood makeovers and a variety of other workshops and entertainment.
